Reuse, Restitch, Relove
Only a few people know the term slow fashion. Our consuming behavior is getting faster and faster, almost unnoticed. Open online shop, search, find, buy, delivered, send back, and start all over again.
What is super practical and has already evolved into a hobby for many is no longer acceptable for our environment or for the poorly paid workers.
April’s Second Stitch, therefore, takes second-hand fabrics and processes them into new clothes and accessories, giving them a second chance. The whole thing isn´t boring or old-fashioned at all. My inspiration is based on current fashion trends.
My goal is to make a small contribution to slowing down fashion consumption and to focus again on looking for great pieces that also have a story behind them. Therefore, each part is named after its place of origin and brings a piece of its past with it.
Whether as a gift for a friend, long-term buyer, or participant in an upcycling workshop, you too can make your contribution to slow fashion.
